Cola attacks the kidneys

Coca Cola drink daily causes twice the risk of kidney failure. This warning does not come from anyone, but is demonstrated by a study by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences in the United States. Less was taken into account that the content of this drink is very much phosphoric acid. And this element increases the risk of kidney disease.
The results show that people who drink two large glasses of Coca daily and even more have a 2.3 times higher risk of kidney disease, compared to people who have not been addicted to this drink. The main suspect? Phosphoric acid, which gives the drink acidity, while playing the role of preservative. In the case of the other carbonated drinks that do not contain this substance, the producers use citric acid to obtain the acid taste. However, it is known that a high level of phosphoric acid prevents the normal functioning of the kidneys, increasing the risk of kidney stones formation.
