Children combine and create 5 servings of fruits and vegetables!


How can we convince the children to eat fruits and vegetables? Let the children take control in the kitchen! To design daily meals for the whole family. Let them feel special, discover themselves the passion of being a cook.

How can you help your little ones succeed? Make a list of fruits and vegetables that children will use in the preparation of dishes. Then determine what they will have to do: combine any of the available components to create 5 servings to become a fruit or vegetable addition for breakfast, pre-lunch snack, lunch, afternoon and dinner snacks.

To facilitate the activity of our little ones, give them what they love: paper and pencils. Thanks to them, the design of the dishes will become a play. Cut 5 wheels out of cardboard, which will symbolize the plates. A plate means a serving. Then let the children let go of their imagination. To combine together potatoes, cauliflower, tomatoes, apples, pears, plums etc. Thanks to this activity, children will learn a simple rule: to add to each meal vegetables or fruits that provide our body with essential nutrients, vitamins and minerals1.

From an early age, teach the child to choose "good" juices that can replace a fruit or vegetable. But always before serving, make sure it is a 100% natural juice. Thus, on the paper plate the child will also be able to draw a glass of juice, for example, apples.

Mission accomplished. The children had an amazing game of fun, they learned the right nutrition (and they will keep this lesson for a long time), and you have ideas for the 5 daily meals for the whole family. Maybe the ideas will be a little unusual, but ... such a crazy childhood with fruits and vegetables has its charm.
